Terms of Service

Welcome to ThreshingGame.com ("the Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

ThreshingGame.com is a free, unofficial, fan-made entertainment experience inspired by the Empyrean book series: interactive dragon-bonding quizzes, a signet quiz, a battle simulator, and related lore content. It requires no account and no payment.

2. Fan content & intellectual property

The Site is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rebecca Yarros, Entangled Publishing, Red Tower Books, or any official Empyrean or Dragonkind project. All related trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Original elements of the Site (text, code, generated dragon art, design) belong to ThreshingGame.com. You may share your personal results and cards freely; you may not copy, resell, or rehost substantial parts of the Site.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Site or its APIs.
• Do not submit abusive, hateful, or offensive content in rider names, questions, or other free-text fields. We may remove such content and block offenders.
• Do not use bots or automation to inflate leaderboards or battle statistics.

4. Your content

Rider names, custom questions, and battle results you submit are stored anonymously and may appear publicly (for example on the leaderboard or live activity feed). By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content as part of operating the Site. Do not submit anything containing personal information about yourself or others.

5. Advertising

The Site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense and other partners. Ads may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control the content of third-party ads; any dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Game results are for entertainment only. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and game balance, features, or content may change or be removed at any time. Your locally stored rider progress (dragons, bonds, energy) may be reset or lost and has no monetary value.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreshingGame.com and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

8. Children

The Site is intended for a general audience of fantasy readers and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
