Vale Chromatic Codex
Dragon Colors — All Six Vale Colors
Every dragon in the Threshing Game belongs to one of six colors. In this fan-made system, color decides temperament, breath ability, faction, counter matchups, and how often the color appears in the Vale — black dragons are the rarest bond of all. Each color pairs with one of five tail types to form the 30 playable breeds.

What dragon color should you look for?
There is no single best color. Reds and oranges press the attack, greens and browns control the pace, blues snipe single targets, and blacks win from ambush. Color matchups follow two counter triangles — see the full dragon counters chart for the ×1.25 damage web, or compare every stat on the dragon stats table.
